The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
